Last week, Aravo hosted a successful two-day event at The Nomad Hotel in London, bringing together customers, prospects, and partners to explore the evolving landscape of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM).

Day One: TPRM by Design Workshop with Michael Rasmussen

The event kicked off with a dynamic “TPRM by Design Workshop” led by Michael Rasmussen, J.D., GRCP, CCEP, The GRC Pundit at GRC 20/20 Research. The workshop emphasized a proactive approach to integrating risk, compliance, and performance into third-party strategies.

Michael drew a compelling parallel between TPRM and Star Trek, quoting Captain James T. Kirk: “Risk! Risk is our Business.” This highlighted the critical importance of effectively managing third-party relationships in today’s interconnected business world, echoing Leonardo da Vinci’s wisdom that “everything connects to everything else.”

The workshop covered:

  • Third-Party Management by Design: A foundational look at building robust TPRM frameworks.
  • Third-Party Governance: The importance of oversight for effective and compliant relationships.
  • Third-Party Management Lifecycle: Guiding attendees through every stage from onboarding to offboarding
  • Third-Party Management Architecture: Exploring how technology, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cognitive GRC, can enhance TPRM through predictive analytics, neural networks, RPA, and generative AI.

Day Two: Aravo Ascend – Solution Optimization

The second day focused on Aravo Ascend: Solution Optimization, a program designed to help clients maximize their Aravo investment. This session highlighted how to continuously improve TPRM programs by focusing on:

  • Continuous Automation Improvement: Optimizing process cycle times and identifying automation opportunities.
  • Leveraging Risk Intelligence: Effectively integrating and utilizing data from risk intelligence connectors for better decision-making.
  • Configuration Health & New UI Readiness: Ensuring a healthy system configuration and preparing for the latest Aravo User Interface for a streamlined experience.

Attendees gained valuable insights into optimizing their Aravo solutions, enhancing efficiency, and staying ahead in the complex world of third-party management.

We thank all our attendees, speakers, and partners for making this a truly insightful and engaging event!
