Sales veterans Mark DeLuca and Bruce Duchene bring decades of experience from leading enterprise firms including Accenture, Ariba, Oracle and PeopleSoft

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, December 2, 2008 โ€“ Aravo Solutions, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand Supplier Information Management (SIM) software and services, today announced that they have hired two sales management veterans to help further expand the companyโ€™s market share and drive new enterprise sales.

Mark DeLuca joins Aravo as Vice President of Sales for the Eastern Region, and Bruce Duchene joins as Vice President of Sales for the Western Region. Both Mark and Bruce bring decades of enterprise sales experience to Aravo from market leaders such as Accenture, Ariba, Oracle and PeopleSoft.

Mark DeLuca brings more than 20 yearsโ€™ enterprise sales experience to Aravo

As a key member of the sales leadership team, Mark DeLuca will build and manage Aravoโ€™s sales organization in the east. With over 20 years of enterprise sales experience, he has helped leading companies such as Ariba and PeopleSoft establish sizable client bases on the east coast.

DeLuca joined Ariba early in its evolution, and spent nearly seven years selling to global enterprises, including many of the worldโ€™s largest banks, brokerage firms and insurance companies. He was most recently a senior manager in Accentureโ€™s business process outsourcing (BPO) sales organization where he focused on large BPO agreements with financial services firms in North America.

โ€œMark is a well-known thought-leader in the supply management space, and we are excited to welcome him to the Aravo team,โ€ said Dan Dapper, Aravoโ€™s Vice President of Global Sales. โ€œMark will be responsible for building and managing Aravoโ€™s east coast sales organization, driving customer acquisition and success, and managing our continued growth as the SIM market leader.โ€

Bruce Duchene brings nearly 30 years of enterprise sales experience to Aravo

In his role as Vice President of Sales for the Western Region, Bruce Duchene will be responsible for building and growing Aravoโ€™s customer base in the west. Previously, Bruce held executive sales positions with Ariba, Determine Software, Octave Software and Vignette Corporation. He brings nearly 30 years of proven sales leadership and execution to Aravo.

During his three years at Ariba as Regional Director, Bruce was responsible for driving sales growth in the western region. His success with global enterprise companies was a key factor in Aribaโ€™s rapid market growth, and he brings an extensive background in Supply Chain applications and Software as a Service to Aravo. At Vignette, he served as Vice President of Sales for the Americas and was responsible for developing business operations in North America and Latin America. During his tenure, company revenues grew from $3 million to over $500 million. Duchene also held senior sales positions at Scopus Technology, Infinium and Oracle.

โ€œBruce is a well-respected and proven senior sales executive known for his strong ability to drive customer adoption and client success,โ€ Dapper added. โ€œBruce has a unique combination of supply management domain knowledge and direct customer experience, which together will ensure Aravoโ€™s continued leadership in the global SIM market.โ€
